The king in space

The king is standing on a stage, facing a huge crowd of people gathered in front of him on some kind of town square.

Greetings, my friends.
We're currently moving away from our home planet with an extremely high speed.
We don't plan to ever come back.
It would be pointless. All the people you ever knew should already be dead.
At this speed, the time moves fast.
But don't be scared. I'm your ruler now. I've been created by some of these people. I have great power.
I'll create a new world for all of you.
This space ship is huge. This size is enough for all of you and for many people who will soon be born. You are enough people to multiply without problems.
I will help you with your problems, but I will also amuse myself with you. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun together.
Many of you will die here, so you shouldn't view death as something final. Many of you will also be born here.
I cannot die myself, but I also cannot reproduce.

The king looks at the people and observes their reactions.
Most of them seem confused and unsure about what's happening.
A few individuals attempt to leave the square, disappearing into nearby alleys.
However, the majority of the crowd remains in place, watching with excitement and anticipation.

I want you to understand the extent of my power.
So I'll demonstrate my power to you now.
First I want to show you how my power can benefit you.
If anyone here is not well, they should come closer and I will heal them.

Most of the people don't dare to move, but an elderly man, already rather close to the stage, slowly walks toward the king.
He enters the stage and soon is standing next to him.
The king doesn't even touch the man, but he immediately feels better.
By using his powers, the king additionally even makes him look way younger.
The man is happy and leaves the stage. The crowd is amazed.

So the king looks at the crowd again.

Next I want to show my strength.
If anybody wants to be killed voluntarily, they should raise their hand. I will kill them immediately. So you should only volunteer if you are absolutely sure.

The king looks around, but everybody seems scared.

If nobody of you wants to volunteer, that's completely fine with me.

A girl hesitantly raises her hand and immediately falls to the ground.
The people around her are a pretty concerned and want to help her, but they quickly realize that she's already dead.

The people in the crowd become nervous.
Some try to flee, some even manage to get away and hide in the alleys, but most of them just keep standing there.
And when the king continues to speak, everybody gets silent again.

I should also let you know about something else.
There are cameras everywhere at this place.
I have the ability to watch you like this.
But when using cameras, I don't have to waste my powers. And I can rewatch the records of interesting events.
Besides that, all of you will have access to all the records as well from your rooms.
So for now you should spread out and choose yourself some room. There are enough rooms for everybody, so don't fight.
Once you've settled in, I'll play some fun games with you.

The king disappears behind the stage, leaving the crowd alone Then he enters one of the rooms only accessible to himself.
